Cast Pads

Contact pads are the most important part of the clamp attachment. In most normal handling situations, the pads are the only parts of the clamp which actually are in contact with the paper roll.
Therefore, Bolzoni Group has paid special attention in designing and manufacturing contact pads which will ensure safe and non-damaging roll handling.

  • Cast contact pads are the standard pads of several Auramo roll clamp models.
  • Cast pads are good all-round pads that are at their best with softer paper grades.
  • Cast contact pads are made of special cast iron (ADI Meehanite).
  • Single piece design.
  • Diamond-shaped cast friction surface.
  • Very durable and wear-resistant material.
  • Require only a minimum amount of daily service.
  • Good all-round pads.
  • Standard pads on many paper roll clamp models.
