> Safety handrails

Supplied on request bolted-on version, with handrail, knee and toe board on one or more sides of the platform.
For removable execution (not available for platform width < 800 mm) it is necessary to provide an interlock switch.

• Safety European Standard EN 1570-1 (5.2.9.1) requires that tables which are designed to be entered by the operators must be provided with guard rails to prevent persons falling more than 0,5 m from the platform.
• On the lift tables intended to carry operators (on board during lifting and lowering movement) there must be provided a control device onto the platform (EN 1570-1 5.5. Operator position 5.5.1). In case of no additional control provided a separate emergency stop switch is mandatory (5.5.7) in order to allow a second person to take action in case the operator on the platform can no longer operate the table due to a defect of the control.
• Platforms, which are entered by persons, shall be fitted with an anti-slip surface. (EN 1570-1 (5.4.1.))

Attention! The minimum clear horizontal distance between the safety hand rails and structure of a machine or wall shall be 100 mm. (EN 1570-1 5.2.10.3). To protect against trapping or possible dangerous situation, where the clearance is less than 120 mm the hand rails must be surfaced with a rigid material (EN 1570-1 5.2.10.6)
